A set of teaching activities was organised by Rome Tre University during the first semester (October 2021 – January 2022) as part of the InCLIMATE project: Output O5 – Climate resilience integrated concept map.
These teaching activities were developed involving students belonging to different programmes. They engaged 34 students (organised in 9 groups) who are following the module of Urban Design in Studio Design (MA in Architecture). A 10-hour module was organised with three lectures addressing the following topics:
- Urban climate resilience policies – International and European strategies and case studies at regional and local level;
- Structure and use of concept maps and the CMap program;
- Presentation, discussion of the concept maps developed by the students, and final debate.
Other participants included 13 students (organised in 3 groups) following the Course on Urban Policies (MA in Urban Design). The following 5 topics were addressed as part of a 14-hour module:
- General introduction: framing the theme of adaptation to climate change;
- Urban climate resilience policies. International and European strategies;
- Case studies of Urban Climate Resilience Strategies;
- Structure and use of concept maps and the CMap program;
- Presentation and discussion of the concept maps developed by the students and final debate.
In both cases, additional work was carried out by the trainers through remote meetings for individuals or groups in order to improve and finalize the process.
