UAUIM organised the online workshop as part of the InCLIMATE project “Output O5 – Climate resilience integrated concept map” activitieson 15th of October 2021. Output O5 is led by UAUIM within the consortium of the InCLIMATE project. The workshop, which was attended by 70 students and teachers, had three parts: a presentation of the project, a presentation of how to use the pre-ordinated cognitive structure within the Cmap software and a Q&A session.
During the first semester of the academic year, the UAUIM teachers involved in the InCLIMATE project have been working with the pre-ordinated cognitive structure as a teaching tool in order to test its effectiveness and usefulness, but also to further develop and improve it by adding concepts, links and material on specific aspects.
UAUIM educational activities where the tool will be used span from 1st year bachelor’s degree to 2nd year master’s degree, within disciplines with content dedicated to urban planning and design, urban geography and ecology, mobility, public services and technical equipment. A total of 6 disciplines and 7 study programmes shall include the tool as part of their activities and an estimate of 200 students shall be reached. Output 5 will reflect the evolution of the pre-ordinated cognitive structure, resulting from the educational activities carried out by the project partners and the Intensive course for students.
